The Real Maine Event: Maine's Team Manager Had The Cameron Crazies Losing Their Damn Minds, Needs To Be On The Roster Today

You're telling me this dude couldn't find a spot on the roster at Maine? I know, I know, dunking isn't everything but it's Maine. Maine is fucking terrible and yet they have the coolest manager in the game. Let him get some action during a game and see how he can help you. All I know is this might be better for him though. Every team has the 12th man who comes in and drills a shot and goes viral within their own student section. Every team does not have a manager out here stealing the spotlight away from the future No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. 

Not to mention he got to live out the dream that any person had who played basketball. Putting on a show at a major school. You're telling me you never dreamt of walking into Rupp, Phog Allen, Cameron, etc and going nuts in front of a crowd? Okay, maybe that was just my weird dreams growing up. You get the point though. Dude won over the crowd, has the Internet talking about him and the name Simon Boogie screams future star. Sure, he can do it at Duke on opening night but can he do it against NJIT on a Wednesday in the America East? Gonna need to see Simon show up against them and then I'll be screaming Maine needs to start him. 

Basically I think we gotta talk about Simon being the 2nd best basketball player from Maine behind Cooper Flagg. He passes Nik Caner-Medley and that's about it. Get the man NIL, in the college dunk contest, anything. He is Maine basketball.
